I came to Japan as an international student in 2008 and have been living in Japan for the past 14 years.<\/p>\n<p>I first encountered \u201cJapanese Real Estate\u201d when I started hunting for a place to rent as a foreign student. For those that aren\u2019t familiar, if you want to rent an apartment in Japan, you must budget for rental guarantee, the management fees, deposits, etc. As a tenant, there are issues beyond the initial cost that tenants needed to be aware of and I experienced first-hand the cultural difference compared with renting in China.<\/p>\n<p>After entering the workforce, I entered the real estate industry approximately 7 years ago. The first thing my seniors let me experience was visiting real estate agencies without an appointment. At that time, I was not very fluent in Japanese and my explanation was not effective, so I was reprimanded by customers and even told to \u201cleave immediately\u201d. I felt extremely remorseful and guilty at that time, but through this experience, I drastically improved my Japanese and gained the ability necessary to communicate with customers. All so they can better understand our services and products.<\/p>\n<p>As I gained traction and experience the industry, I started real estate investment as a landlord and learned more about the Japanese law and business customs. I understood that there are a multitude of responsibilities and obligations that I have to fulfill as a landlord. Here, I mastered the way to protect the interests of landlords.<\/p>\n<p>Living in Japan as a foreigner and working in the real estate industry to the point of being recognized as a professional is not an easy task. It is because I have crossed the language and cultural barriers that enabled me to provide valuable services to overseas investors and I an confident I can create an outstanding team.<br \/>\nIt is an honor to be the Chief Executive Officer of WealthPark RealEstate Technolgoies, and I will wholeheartedly continue to explore \u201cwhat is a successful cross-border investment platform\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We, at WealthPark RealEstate Technologies, promise you that we will continue to be a partner that you can rely on in the world of cross-border investment and we will adhere to our policy of providing a peace of mind to democratize investment in Japanese real estate.
