Head of Frontend
WealthPark is a startup IT venture to provide asset management and management platform application.
Currently, we are taking on the challenge of “visualization” of non-liquid assets in the real estate industry, which is one of the alternative assets.
WealthPark closed JPY 540 million in Series A financing in May 2019, JPY 907 million in Series B in August 2020, and JPY 2.5 billion from JIC Venture Growth Investments, bringing the total amount raised to JPY 4.398 billion.

WealthPark’s mission is to build an alternative asset platform through innovation and entrepreneurship and ownership.
Fujii, the VP of Front End, has been concurrently serving as the Leader of Front End until now.
However, with the expansion of the organization and departments, the amount of time that he can devote to the Front End has been relatively decreasing.
In addition, as we continue to talk about products and design systems, the front-end needs to develop more as a team. In this context, we are looking for someone who can lead the FrontEnd organization.
The Person We Are Looking For
1. Person who can drive front-end development/front-end organization.
We are looking for someone who can drive WealthPark’s front-end development, either as a senior front-end engineer or as a leader of a front-end organization.
We are also looking for someone who can lead a team and manage members and offshore organizations in an expanding organization.
On the other hand, WealthPark expects its leaders to be involved in development as a member of the Cross-Functional Team, without being 100% dedicated to management.

2. Person who is motivated to collaborate with business/PdM/Designer
WealthPark is a startup and communication is very important to us. While redesigning the architecture is a very important mission, we are looking for someone who can drive the discussions with the Business/PdM/Designer and drive the project forward. We are looking for people who are motivated to consider better UI/UX through communication with them and to implement them.
3. Continuously learn new technologies and find ways to solve issues and requirements
On the other hand, WealthPark also focuses on pursuing front-end technologies to achieve better architecture, UI/UX, maintainable code base, and good performance.
In the front-end team, we have frequent design and technology discussions to review the overall design, and we are examining various technologies. For example, recently we have been working on Next.js and GraphQL. WealthPark is looking for people who can continue to actively catch up with new technologies.
・As the head of the FrontEnd, you create an organization in which the tasks and project status of the Front End team are shared with transparency, and in which the Business, Product, and BackEnd teams can work together in the best possible way.
・As the head of the FrontEnd, you are responsible for coordinating the opinions of the members and making WealthPark’s growing number of front-end applications a highly maintainable architecture.
・As the head of the FrontEnd, support and train, feedback each member.
・Defining, evolving, and communicating the team’s vision, mission, and strategy across WealthPark.
・Brainstorm and do design sprint with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers to build new features, architectures by using React.
・Communicate closely with the Designer to create the WealthPark DesignSystem together.
・Maintain and improve existing products. (React)
Technical Skills / Experiences
・4+ years of building software development with React.
・6+ years of building software development with FrontEnd.
・Deep understanding of React and TypeScript and Dom.
・Experience with building Single page application with TypeScript.
・Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS.
・Experience in interface design of web API.
・Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins.
・Accessibility, internationalization, or localization.
・Strong UX and design sensibilities and an interest in sweating the small stuff.
・Motivation to learn new techniques continuously.
・English(90% of engineers are non-Japanese. We are a very international team.)
・Highly organized person.
・Have motivation for team development.
・Be able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make decisions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.
・Continuously learn new technologies and find ways to solve issues and requirements.
・Experience in development GraphQL/BFF.
・Experience in development with NestJS.
・Experience in developing CI/CD, BFF, and other parts associated with FrontEnd.
・Experience in managing engineers.
・Offshore management experience.
・Experience in the financial / prop-tech industry.
・To read/speak Japanese (Not mandatory).
Salary and Evaluation system
It will be decided in consideration of experience and skills.
・Annual salary system
・Evaluation: twice a year
・Probation time: 3 months (conditions do not change during the probation time)
・The annual salary includes 35 hours of overtime work
