Prior to joining the predecessor NorthStar Asset Management Group in 2014, he was an Associate Director at Five Mile Capital Partners, where he was responsible for the identification, evaluation, consummation and management of real estate investments. He received an A.B. in International Relations from Brown University and is a Kauffman Fellow.

Craig is a serial entrepreneur involved in successful business ventures ranging from TV production companies to robotics to medical devices and most recently SaaS. His latest project SmartCSM is an SaaS product that provides large commercial property owners and their facility managers in depth visual access of their mechanical infrastructure anywhere, anytime via any mobile and desktop device. Companies like Goodyear, United Airlines and CHOC (Children’s Hospital Orange County) are deploying the product to save time, money and lives.
Prior to that Craig founded a company called DrMarion.com with his mother - world renowned gerontologist Dr. Marion Somers. In 2014 they helped ideate, research and launch for Hasbro the “Joy for All Companion Pet” for seniors - one of Hasbro’s most successful brand launches in the last 20 years. It was a unique product repackaged and reengineered from a kids toy called a FurReal Friend and re-imagined as a device to occupy and engage dementia patients and lonely seniors. In 2015 the Dr. Marion team launched the Quick Change Wrap - a major disrupter in the incontinence industry, now being deployed by facilities like Mayo Clinic, Dignity Health, Ford Hospital and 100’s of institutions across America.
Craig began his career running TV Production companies in an around Los Angeles, producing 57 extreme sports films, 26 documentaries and 100’s of network TV and corporate jobs, from the Miss America Pageant to corporate clients like Activision & Disney.
