【WealthPark Lab】Hosting Public Sessions for “Learning Place for Life and Money” to Explore the Essence of Finance

WealthPark Lab, a research arm of WealthPark Co., Ltd. (Director: Kosuke Kato), has launched a public session of “Learning Place for Life and Money” to explore the essence of investment and improve financial literacy across society.

Theme: “Learning from Private Lodging! The Global Tourism Industry, Its History, and the Current State of the Japanese Economy”

Contents:
・When and why did humanity begin traveling abroad? Learn the etymology and history of travel.
・Grasp the tourism industry from trends in global population, number of overseas travelers, economic growth, and trade volume.
・Understand the new challenges of the Japanese economy, such as the continued depreciation of the Yen despite a large current account surplus, through the lens of inbound tourism.
・Understand the reality of small-scale accommodation operations in Tokyo and new technologies in the travel industry.
